American Psycho star Benjamin Walker is among the newly announced cast joining Annette Bening and Tracy Letts in the upcoming Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons from Roundabout Theatre Company. Walker will play Chris Keller in the Jack O’Brien-helmed production.
As previously reported, Gregory Mosher was originally set to helm the spring staging, however, following a disagreement over casting between the director and the estate of Arthur Miller, Mosher withdrew from the production and O'Brien stepped in.
Performances will begin April 4 at the American Airlines Theatre ahead of an April 22 opening.
Also joining the company are Francesca Carpanini (The Little Foxes) as Ann Deever, Hampton Fluker (The Good Wife) as George Deever, Michael Hayden (Carousel) as Dr. Jim Bayliss, Jenni Barber (Wicked) as Lydia Lubey, Nehal Joshi (School of Rock) as Frank Lubey, Chinasa Ogbuagu (Sojourners) as Sue Bayliss.
Bening will star as Kate Keller, with Letts as Joe Keller.
In All My Sons, the Keller family continues to hope for the return of their son Larry in the years following WWII. Amidst accusations of war crimes and the impending reality that Larry will never return, the Kellers confront a host of family secrets.
The play was last seen on Broadway in 2008 in a revival starring John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest. Unconnected to the Roundabout revival, the drama will also be revived in London next spring starring Sally Field and Bill Pullman.
The Roundabout revival's design team is made up of Douglas W. Schmidt (sets), Jane Greenwood (costumes), Natasha Katz (lights), John Gromada (sound), Jeff Sugg (video and projections), Tom Watson (hair and wigs), and Bob James (original music).
