A star-studded TV production of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women, starring five-time Tony winner Angela Lansbury as Aunt March, will begin filming later this month in Ireland, according to Deadline.

The Playground Entertainment adaptation of the 1868 property, which will be seen in three parts on both PBS and BBC One, will also feature Olivier-winning veteran actor Michael Gambon as Mr. Laurence and Olivier nominee Emily Watson, most recently seen in Ron Howard's Genius, as Marmee—the matriarch of the March family who guides her daughters in Civil War-era New England.

Maya Hawke has been cast as aspiring writer Jo; her sisters will be played by Willa Fitzgerald as Meg, Annes Elwy as Beth, and Kathryn Newton as Amy. Jonah Hauer-King will take on the role of the boy-next-door Laurie Laurence.

Penned by Heidi Thomas (the creator of Call The Midwife), the miniseries is from Collin Callender's Playground. A broadcast date has yet to be announced.
