Hampton Fluker, who currently makes his Broadway debut as George Deever in the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of All My Sons, will receive the Dorothy Loudon Award at the 75th annual Theatre World Awards. The ceremony will take place June 3 at the Neil Simon Theatre (currently home to The Cher Show).
The honor, named after the Annie Tony winner who received a Theatre World Award for her Broadway debut in Nowhere to Go But Up, recognizes an outstanding performance in a Broadway or Off-Broadway production. Past recipients include Celia Keenan-Bolger, Bobby Steggert, Nicholas Barasch, Ben Edelman, and Katrina Lenk.
Fluker previously starred in Roundabout’s Too Heavy for Your Pocket and Esai’s Table at Cherry Lane Theatre. On screen, he’s known for his performance as Marcus Tufo on NBC’s Shades of Blue.
As previously announced, this year’s honorees are Jeremy Pope (Choir Boy), Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Bonnie Milligan (Head Over Heels), Gbenga Akinnagbe (To Kill a Mockingbird), Tom Glynn-Carney (The Ferryman), Sophia Anne Caruso (Beetlejuice), Paddy Considine (The Ferryman), James Davis (Oklahoma!), Micaela Diamond (The Cher Show), Simone Missick (Paradise Blue), Colton Ryan (Girl From the North Country), and Stephanie Styles (Kiss Me, Kate).Additionally, Nathan Lane will receive the John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre.
