New York City’s Abrons Arts Center has revealed its spring 2018 season, a lineup which includes 16 premieres across theatre, dance, music, performance, and visual art. Among the six theatrical works to be presented at the Lower East Side venue will be the U.S. premiere of Fabrice Melquiot’s Pollock, which details the relationship between artists Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner.

Pollock, which will star Jim Fletcher as Pollock alongside Birgit Huppuch as Krasner, will be directed by Paul Desveaux. Performances will run February 15–25.

In March, writer and performer Modesto Flako Jimenez will weave poems, projections, and music into a bilingual elegy in ¡Oye! For My Dear Brooklyn. Performances will run March 15–31.

In June, Abrons Arts Center will present Everyone’s Fine with Virginia Woolf, written by Kate Scelsa for Elevator Repair Service and directed by John Collins. The show, a parody of Edward Albee’s iconic Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, features veterans of the ensemble (June 1–24).

The theatrical lineup also includes Deborah Stein and Suli Holum’s The Wholehearted, a high-octane revenge tragedy and intimate tribute to lost love (March 16-April 1); Eliza Bent’s personal play of legacy and cultural appropriation, Aloha, Aloha or When I Was a Queen (April 4-21); and Awesome Grotto from the Royal Osiris Karaoke Ensemble (June 7-30).
