Patti LuPone performs alongside soprano Patricia Racette, baritone Christopher Maltman and tenor Robert Brubaker in LA Opera's production of John Corigliano’s The Ghosts of Versailles. Darko Tresnjak directs the first full-scale production of the opera in this century. The narrative examines the ghosts of Marie Antoinette and the court of Louis XVI as they reflect upon their pasts and the suffering they endured. Performances end March 1.
