DESCRIPTION

EPIC will be doing Seussical the Musical as our spring mainstage! We are seeking musical theatre performers who are passionate about inclusive theatre and interested in working alongside neurodivergent or disabled actors for the roles of Wickersham Brothers or Bird Girls.

SEUSSICAL CALLBACK DATES:
01/11/25 11am - 7pm 520 Manhattan (callbacks)
01/12/25 12pm - 4pm 520 Manhattan (potential callbacks)

Seussical Rehearsals/Tech/Shows:

Saturday’s 2:30 - 6:30pm, Manhattan, beginning Jan 18th, 2025
Thursday’s 5:30 - 9:30pm, SOS Brooklyn, Studio G, beginning 1/23/25
Monday’s 5:30 - 9:30pm , SOS Brooklyn, Great Room, beginning 1/27/25
Tuesday’s 5:30 - 9:30pm, Manhattan, beginning 2/25/25

Tech Rehearsals:

04/28 and 04/29 Load in
04/30 -5/8/25, Rehearsals with cast Weekday evenings and Weekend Mornings/Afternoon - tech schedule to be confirmed by beginning of April 2025.

Show Dates:

May 8th - May 18th, 2025 (Weekdays and Saturday at 7pm, Sunday at 2pm)

Please choose either Wickersham Brothers or Bird Girls to audition for from the folder above and learn the corresponding materials.

Each character has a scene AND a song cut to learn. Sections of the score and libretto are included to assist with learning. Practice tracks have also been provided.

Pay for Seussical: $1250

HOW TO SUBMIT:

If you would like to audition for our production of Seussical for the roles of Wickersham Brothers or Bird Girls, please send us a video recording of your audition in accordinace with the directions and sides linked above. Please also include a headshot and resume. Please also let us know if you are able to attend our callbacks on 1/11 and 1/12.
