We are seeking performers of all ages & genders to record a concept album of a new musical called Seven Steps Around the Fire at the legendary PowerStation studios!
Seven Steps Around the Fire follows a young Indian-American woman who turns to her past lives for guidance when her queer relationship is threatened by the Hindu tradition of arranged marriage. When she unearths secrets surrounding her mother’s own sexuality, she must make the impossible choice between her family and breaking free from this generational cycle once and for all. Featuring a contemporary pop score fused with the sounds of Indian Classical music, Seven Steps Around the Fire explores the timeless question: what do we sacrifice in the name of love?
