BREAKDOWN
MOTHER RUSSIA
NOTE: These descriptions are of the *characters*, not necessarily the actors who will play them - per Lauren Yee’s note “perhaps everyone in the cast is wrong for their part in some way - not Russian, not twenty-five, not male
SEEKING:
EUVGENY - Russian, male, twenty-five. Bright, earnest, an overachiever and a rule-follower eager to understand how he fits into the new world order. Well-meaning and sincere, if a little skittish.
DMITRI - Russian, male, twenty-five. His laissez-faire, laid back and cocky demeanor bely his deep
insecurities about his status, and unease with a changing world. Aspiring ladies man. Wants nothing
more than to return to peak Soviet Union and join the KGB.
KATYA - (CAST) she is russian, she is a singer, she's in her 30s.
