Tony Manero. 19. Handsome, charismatic Brooklyn Italian. Ringleader of his gang of friends, The Faces. Tough guy exterior with vulnerability underneath – a “thinker,” not a “talker.” He comes alive whenever he dances. (Range: A2-G4)
Bobby C. 19. Genuine and less self-assured than the other guys. He breaks up with his high school girlfriend, Pauline, at their urging, and continuously struggles with doing the right thing. (Range: C3-A4)
Gus. 19. A follower. Not afraid to lie to cover his own ass. (Range: E3-F#4)
Double-J. 19. A charming and funny jokester and a real bruiser. Physically the toughest of the gang. (Range: C3-F#4)
Joey. 19. A real “wise-guy” with possible connections. (Range: E3-A4)
Monty. Any age. The MC, DJ, and gatekeeper of 2001. Good-looking and charismatic with a big personality. After Tony, the coolest person in town. (Range: B2-G4)
Frank Manero. 40s-50s. Tony’s father. An out-of-work construction worker who feels like the world has turned its back on him.
Flo Manero. 40s-50s. Tony’s mother. A devout Catholic, she cares deeply for her family and especially idolizes her son, Frank Jr.
Frank Jr. 20s. Tony’s brother who has left the priesthood. Humble and full of good advice.
Linda Manero. 18+ to play 16. Tony’s little sister. Sunny and spunky.
Stephanie Mangano. 20. Puts on airs to hide her Brooklyn upbringing, but every now and then a bit of the old neighborhood comes out. She may be pretentious and lack tact at times, but she is still genuinely likeable. Strong singer and dancer. (Range: Bb3-F#5)
Pauline. 19. Sweet and optimistic ex-girlfriend of Bobby. She is hurt by Bobby’s behavior, but there’s a larger issue that’s concerning her. (Range: G3-E5)
Annette. 19. Overeager to please, a “puppy-dog” with an insecure edge. Is incredibly hurt that Tony does not have feelings for her. Strong singer and dancer. (Range: F3-C5)
Candy. Any age. The resident singer of 2001. Sexy and confident, beloved by everybody. Strong singer/belter. (Range: A4-G5)
Ensemble. Late teens-30s. A strong ensemble of singer-dancers who populate the Brooklyn world of 1977 and, most specifically, that of the club 2001 Odyssey.

Stacee Jaxx/Father. 30s-40s. An oversexed, sexy rock star. Recently left a successful metal band to venture out solo. Arrogant and charming, his life is a merry-go-round of sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll.

Dawn. 20s. The youngest of the waitresses. Eccentric, slightly unusual, and meticulously detailoriented.
Sets the tables with precision. Has an excellent pop/rock/folk voice.
Becky. 40s-50s. The oldest of the waitresses. Irreverent and tough but keeps a wicked sense of humor. Has a soulful pop voice with an excellent pop belt.
Dr. Pomatter. 30s-40s. Handsome, endearing, and neurotic. Jenna’s gynecologist with whom an unexpected extramarital affair begins. Quirky with a big heart. Has impeccable comedic timing and moves well. Strong pop/rock tenor voice required.
Earl. 20s-30s. Jenna’s husband. Peaked in high school; handsome in a gruff way but clouded with broken dreams. Displays narcissism mixed with volatility. Guitar playing a plus.
Ogie. 30s. Strange yet oddly lovable. Becomes slightly obsessed with Dawn after a brief date. Quirky and persistent with excellent comedic timing. Has an excellent pop/rock tenor/baritenor voice.
Joe. 60s-70s. Owner of the diner where Jenna, Dawn, Becky, and Cal work. Seemingly curmudgeonly but has a soft spot for Jenna. Sarcastically funny with a no-nonsense demeanor.
Cal. 40s. Chef at the diner. A "salt of the earth" guy surrounded by gals. Brash and unsentimental yet charming. Strong pop/rock baritone voice and excellent comedic timing required.
Lulu. 4-5 years old. Daughter of Jenna and Earl. A sweet, carefree child who appears in the last scene. Should be confident with some dialogue and movement. Shorter than 127cm.
Ensemble. 20s-40s. Have excellent pop/rock voices in the style of Sara Bareilles, strong comedic timing, and be able to play various community characters. Strong movers/dancers.

Hans. 20s. Ambitious and overlooked thirteenth son of a king. Exceedingly charming facade that fools everyone into believing he's Prince Charming, but he's deceitful and manipulative. (Range: G2-B3)
Olaf. Any age. Magical snowman created by Anna and Elsa when they were young. Endearingly delighted by everything, especially the idea of summer. Goofy and sweet, with excellent comic timing.

Pabbie. 20s-30s. Mystical leader of the Hidden Folk. Parental, kind, and nurturing, with a soft spot for "strays."

Weselton. 50s-70s. Visiting duke with a huge inferiority complex. Bombastic and overbearing, his primary goal is to hobnob with influencers and royalty. (Range: F#2-D4)
Bishop. 50s-70s. Officiates Elsa’s coronation and communicates formally with the Townspeople of Arendelle.
King Agnarr. 20s. Warm-hearted ruler of Arendelle and Elsa and Anna’s father. Protects his family while concealing Elsa’s powers from the kingdom.
Queen Iduna. 20s. Wise and kind mother of Elsa and Anna, with a deep understanding of Elsa’s powers due to her own Northern Nomad heritage.
Oaken. 20s-30s. Cheerful and convivial wandering salesperson with a passion for all things cozy and comfortable.

Archie. 19. Attends the same school as Jackson but doesn’t start as his friend. Awkward yet brilliant, Archie finds his place as the group’s pseudo musical director. Everyone’s little brother. M2 in the

Karl. Age unknown. Eastern-European and incredibly mysterious. Frequently alludes to an insane past and slowly reveals he may be around 40. An absolute enigma. M1 in the shows.
Doug. 24. Silent but deadly company manager of the group, who is also the male swing. Hates performing but does so only when absolutely necessary. Smart, dry, and a comedic assassin. Male swing.
Lexi. 22. A college senior who hates being left out of the core company. Uses every chance she gets on stage to re-audition. Forced to play mascot roles four times daily, slowly unraveling as the summer
progresses. Female swing.
Penny. 19. Youngest and most talented member of the cast. Bright-eyed and optimistic, if somewhat naive. Possibly in love with Jackson, though this does not bode well for her. Incoming college
sophomore with Broadway aspirations. F1 in the shows.
Dominique. 21. Jackson’s closest confidant. An incredible vocalist who is already disillusioned with life in New York. Needs this summer to be amazing. In a long-distance relationship that keeps her preoccupied. F2 in the shows.
Kelly. 22. Recently graduated college and the best dancer in the cast, though intimidated by the bigger personalities. Discovers her own strength over the summer. F3 in the shows.
Female Authority Figure. 40+. Portrays all the adult characters, including the director, the park executive, various parents, and the landlord of the communal house. Characters include Tammy, Robin, Muriel, Sheila, Friendship Landing V.O., etc.
