On a recent episode of the CW comedy series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, star Rachel Bloom performs "Cold Shower," a song that strongly resembles "Ya Got Trouble" from the musical The Music Man.
The original song was a rabble-rousing chant to inflame the residents of River City over a pool hall opening in their community.
The parody shows Bloom singing a similarly rhythmic number to inflame the residents of an apartment complex over the fact that their landlord is not supplying sufficient hot water. As an inside joke, the number ends up in a pool.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend stars Bloom as a "successful, driven and possibly crazy young Manhattan woman who impulsively gives up everything in a desperate attempt to find love and happiness in that exotic hotbed of romance and adventure: West Covina, CA."
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend also stars Santino Fontana, Donna Lynne Champlin, Vincent Rodriguez III, Pete Gardner and Vella Lovell.
