At the October 31 football game at Chicago’s Soldier Field (Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings), the leading men of the Chicago production of Hamilton took to the field before the game to kick off the night with an a cappella arrangement of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Arranged by leading man Joshua Henry (Aaron Burr), the performance featured Henry, José Ramos (John Laurens/Philip Hamilton), Chris De’Sean Lee (Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson), Miguel Cervantes (Alexander Hamilton), Jonathan Kirkland (George Washington), and Wallace Smith (Hercules Mulligan/James Madison).
