Benanti has been doing her satirical take on Mrs. Trump since the 2016 election, after it became clear she has an uncanny resemblance to the former first lady. See her first official outing on Late Show With Stephen Colbert here. Benanti is a Tony winner for her performance in the title role of Gypsy, and was also nominated for Swing!, Into the Woods, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, and She Loves Me.
