Broadway Cares Watch Dancers Crank Up the Heat on Musical Theatre Classics in Broadway Bares Fire Island The annual event raised a record $56,533 for BC/EFA.

Myriad New York City dancers gave Broadway a sexy makeover in Fire Island Pines June 3 with the return of Broadway Bares Fire Island. The one-night only event raised a record-breaking $56,533 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS over two performances at Whyte Hall’s Brandon Fradd Theater.

The Fire Island show was created exclusively for the New York destination by Michael Lee Scott.

The 27th edition of New York’s Broadway Bares will take place June 18 at the Hammerstein Ballroom. This year’s theme is Strip University.
