Following a sold-out run, the National Theatre production of Dear England will be screened in cinemas worldwide later this month.
Beginning January 25, filmgoers will be able to see the acclaimed James Graham play,
which was filmed live during the National run that preceded its current
engagement at London's Prince Edward Theatre.
Starring Joseph Fiennes (The Handmaid’s Tale) as England's men's football team manager Gareth Southgate, the production is directed by Rupert Goold. Watch a trailer for the upcoming screenings in the video above.
The production also features set design by Es Devlin, costume
design by Evie Gurney, lighting design by Jon Clark, movement direction
by Ellen Kane and Hannes Langolf, sound design by Dan Balfour and Tom
Gibbons, and video design by Ash J Woodward. Casting is by Bryony
Jarvis-Taylor, and Richard Ryder serves as dialect coach.
