Film actress Kimberly Williams will head the cast of a mounting of David Ives' sextet of comic one-acts, All in the Timing, opening May 26 at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. The production, which runs through June 28, will cap the theatre's 1997-98 season.

Williams is best known for her roles in the Father of the Bride movies. Last fall, she made her Broadway debut in Alfred Uhry's The Last Night of Ballyhoo. She also was the star of the television series "Relativity."

Williams will be joined by Tom McGowan, most recently of Lincoln Center's Ivanov; Arnie Burton, who starred in the premiere of Ive's Mere Mortels; Clea Lewis, who just finished her four-year stay on the recently canceled sitcom "Ellen"; and Jim Fyfe, whose Broadway credits include the Judd Hirsch Broadway revival of A Thousand Clowns.

Burton starred in the world premiere of Ives' Mere Mortals at New York's Primary Stages and just concluded All in the Timing at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego.
