Pedro Antonio Garcia's new play The Witness Room is set for an Off-Broadway premiere at AMT Theater, with Will Blum directing. Performances will begin September 16 for a limited engagement through October 6, with an official opening September 21. 

The cast will feature Dave Baez (Greenleaf, Critical Thinking), Moe Irvin (Grey’s Anatomy, Star Wars: Ahsoka), JD Mollison (Octet, Three Houses), Tricia Small (The Last Five Years, High Fidelity), and Jason SweetTooth Williams (Be More Chill, Freaky Friday).

The Witness Room takes place in a Manhattan Criminal Court and follows four hardened New York City police officers led by a calculating district attorney. As the play unfolds, the officers battle each other over charges of corruption, racism, morality, loyalties, and the blue wall of silence.

The creative team includes sound designer Lindsay Jones, set designer Daniel Allen, lighting designer Aiden Bezark, costume designer Gina Ruiz, production stage manager Emily Kluger, assistant stage manager Eitan Markowitz, and associate producer Lanelle Scott. 

The work had an extended, sold-out world premiere at Los Angeles' Whitefire Theatre in March 2024.
