In The Ferryman on Broadway, Uncle Pat (played by Mark Lambert) regales his young relatives with fables and tall tales. Offstage, the vibe is very much the same for Lambert and his young costars.
Matilda Lawler, Michael Quinton McArthur, Brooklyn Shuck, and Willow McCarthy, four of the youngest cast members of Jez Butterworth's drama, sat down with Lambert to ask him about his career, his experience living in New York City, the difference between performing on Broadway and the West End, and more.
"I went on to theatre school, Bristol Old Vic. After two years I was working quite consistently. In between jobs I was driving a van and the other van driver was Hugh Grant," Lambert told the young actors.
