News The Clowns Are at It Again: Old Hats Re-Opens Opens Off-Broadway Bill Irwin and David Shiner return to Off-Broadway's Signature Theatre with their family-friendly show Old Hats, which officially opens Feb. 18. The show, which played an extended, sold-out run in 2013, began previews Jan. 26.

Performances take place at the Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center, with performances scheduled to run through April 3.

The return of Old Hats reunites Irwin and Shiner with original director Tina Landau and features new music and lyrics by Shaina Taub. The show combines magic, slapstick, music, technology and movement. 

The design team includes G.W. Mercier (scenic and costume design), Scott Zielinski (lighting design), John Gromada (sound design), Mike Dobson (foley design) and Wendall K. Harrington (projection design). David H. Lurie is the production stage manager. Casting is by Telsey + Company, Will Cantler, CSA.
