Jesse Williams, who returns to his Tony-nominated role of Darren Lemming when Take Me Out begins its return Broadway engagement October 27, has been cast in the third season of the hit Hulu series Only Murders in the Building.

Williams, a veteran of 12 seasons of ABC's Grey's Anatomy, will have a recurring role as a documentarian, according to Variety.

The series follows the unlikely friendship of Mabel (Selena Gomez), Charles (Steve Martin), and Oliver (Martin Short), who live in the same New York City apartment building and join forces on a podcast series that seeks to discover the murderer of Tim Kono (Season 1) and board president Bunny Folger (Season 2), the latter played by Tony winner Jayne Houdyshell.

The third season, as previously reported, will also feature Paul Rudd. Stage and screen star Rudd also appeared in the series' second season, along with appearances by Shirley MacLaine and Amy Schumer and recurring characters portrayed by Nathan Lane, Tina Fey, and Jackie Hoffman.

Only Murders in the Building was co-created by co-star Martin with John Hoffman; the two also serve as executive producers with Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, and Jamie Babbit.
