Supermodel, author, and entrepreneur Ashley Graham, a champion of body positivity, will make her Broadway debut in the record-breaking revival of Chicago next month.
Graham, one of the first curve models to appear on a Vogue cover, will step into the role of merry murderess Roxie Hart beginning April 15 at the Ambassador Theatre for a limited engagement through May 25.
“I’m
honored to make my Broadway debut as the iconic Roxie Hart. I’m deeply
grateful to be able to embrace this new challenge and excited to share
the stage with this incredible company,” stated Graham, who was the first curve model featured on Sports Illustrated Swim
and among the first group of curve models to walk in the Victoria’s
Secret Runway Show.
Graham has also inspired audiences with her TEDx talk, which has been viewed over 4.3 million times. She has hosted Roku’s Side Hustlers and HGTV’s Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge. Graham's memoir is titled A New Model: What Confidence, Beauty, and Power Really Look Like.
