The production, running through Oct. 9, is directed by Kyle Donnelly and is framed through the eyes of a 15-year-old girl reading the novel for the first time. Pride and Prejudice features original music by Michael Roth.

Dana Green stars as headstrong Elizabeth Bennett, who reluctantly realizes she's falling for Mr. Darcy, played by Corey Brill (Cabaret national tour). Jane Carr (Mary Poppins) and Randy Oglesby play Bennett's parents, and Kandis Chappell stars as Darcy's aunt, Lady Catherine de Bourgh.

Newcomer as Mr. Wickham; Elizabeth Nolan as Catherine Bennet; Kalie Quiñones as Miss Anne de Bourgh/Georgiana Darcy; Justin Sorvillo as Captain Carter; Daniel Sugimoto as Soldier/Servant; and Katie Willert as Mary Bennet.

In Austen’s classic novel, the story centers around Elizabeth Bennett, who deals with issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education and marriage in the society of early 19th-century England. SCR's production incorporates two turntables and video projections to take audiences to the mansions and gorgeous gardens of 1800s England.

The creative team includes musical director Roth, choreographer Sylvia C. Turner, set designer Kate Edmunds, costume designer Paloma H. Young, lighting designer Lap Chi Chu, assistant scenic designer/projection coordinator Adam Flemming and stage manager Jamie A. Tucker. Performances on Sept. 21 and Sept. 27 will feature a post-show discussion with members of the cast. Following Pride and Prejudice, How the World Began will run Sept. 25-Oct. 16, and The Trip to Bountiful will run Oct. 21-Nov. 20.
