Full casting has been revealed for the upcoming December 6 concert presentation of the new musical Golden at The Green Room 42. Madsie Flynn is directing with music direction by Robert Frost.

Joining the previously announced Major Attaway, Bryonha Marie, and Kevin Massey will be Diana Huey (The Little Mermaid), Samantha Massell (Fiddler on the Roof), Jon-Michael Reese (A Strange Loop), Kai B White (Grace – A New Musical), Chelsea Zavada-Groen (Wicked), Dustin Sullivan (Heathers: The Musical), Aaron Michael Ray (Come From Away), and Kaila Wooten (Prometheus Bound).

The work features music and lyrics by John Hodges and Geordy Wells and a book by Francesca Peppiatt and Whit Cook. The musical, a contemporary reimagining of The Brothers' Grimm's Rumplestiltskin, follows 19 year-old Alexa as she tries to save her kingdom and reconcile the grief of her past.

The creative team also includes stage managers Kyra Bowie and Danielle Buccino. Mat Lipscomb produces, with Nathan Gehan and Jamison Scott as executive producers. ShowTown Theatricals is the general manager.
