Fishmerman’s Friends: The Musical's international tour, which launched September 1 at the Theatre Royal Plymouth, will make stops in the U.K., Ireland, and Canada. James Grieve directs the touring production.

Jason Langley (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, War Horse) leads the cast as record promoter Danny, joined by Dan Buckley (The Book of Mormon) as Rowan, Dakota Starr (The Girls) as Ben, Pete Gallagher (Only Fools And Horses) as Wiggie, Hadrian Delacey (Miss Saigon) as Archie, Fia Houston-Hamilton (The Wolf Of Wall Street) as Leah, Hazel Monaghan (The Elves and the Shoemaker) as Sally, John O’Mahony (As You Like It) as Eddy, Louisa Beadel (Fame) as Morwenna, and James William-Pattison (Once) as Owen. Playing the role of Grace is Becky Hurst in her theatrical debut. Hazel Simmons, Janet Mooney, Dominic Brewer, and Martin Carroll complete the cast in the ensemble.

Written by Amanda Whittington, the musical is based on the true story of the Cornish singing group Fisherman’s Friends and the 2019 film about their life, the sequel to which is set to be released in the U.K. August 19.

Musical director James Findlay leads the band, featuring musicians Hazel Askew, Mel Biggs, and Alfie Gidley. The creative team will also include choreographer Matt Cole, set and costume designer Lucy Osborne, sound designer Dan Samson, and lighting designer Johanna Town. Musical supervision and arrangements are by David White, and casting is by Jim Arnold.

The tour will make stops in Plymouth, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Salford, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Cardiff, Bath, Leeds, Nottingham, Sheffield, Southhampton, Canterbury, Richmond, Brighton, Oxford, Malvern, Leicester, Torquay, Truro, Bristol, and Glasgow in the U.K., with stops in Dublin, Ireland and Toronto, Canada.

Serving as producers are ROYO with Flying Fish Productions, Mighty Village, Island Records, David Mirvish, and Cornwall Playhouse Productions.
