The world premiere of Other World opened March 4 at Delaware Theatre Company, where it will run until March 20.

In Other World, Sri and Lorraine are in a garage on earth, where they are magically transported into Sri’s favorite video game. Now trapped in the game and in a race against the clock, the pair must work together, discover their inner strengths, and connect with gifted gamers and astonishing avatars in order to survive and find a way home.

Directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, the cast is led by Jamen Nanthakumar and Bonnie Milligan (Kimberly Akimbo, Head Over Heels) with Adinah Alexander, Ryan Andes, Charnette Batey, Sommer Carbuccia, Jon Cooper, Bella Coppola, Madeleine Doherty, Zuri Noelle Ford, Andrew Gasparini, Adam Harrington, Heather Hill, Arianne Meneses, Kristen Faith Oei, Mukta Phatak, Seth Rettberg, Marilyn Melissa Salguero, Sav Souza, Daryl Tofa, Patrick Tombs, Joseph Torello, Zuri Washington, Jason Williams, and Sierra Wilson.

Other World features a book by Hunter Bell and music and lyrics by Jeff Bowen and Ann McNamee. Choreography is by Karla Puno Garcia with art direction by Rebeka Tisch and the Oscar-winning Weta Workshop.
