Video See Darlesia Cearcy and Ashley LaLonde Rehearse for Next To Normal at Westport Playhouse

The pair perform "Maybe", one of the duets shared between mother Diana and daughter Natalie, in the Tony winning musical.

The Westport Country Playhouse has released footage of Darlesia Cearcy (Once On This Island, Shuffle Along, Ragtime) and Ashley LaLonde (Punk Rock Girl!) as mother-daughter duo Diana and Natalie ahead of their upcoming production of Next To Normal.

Directed and choreographed by Marcos Santana, performances are scheduled for April 5-23 at the Connecticut venue.

Joining Cearcy and LaLonde are Tony winner Wilson Jermaine Heredia (Rent) as Dan, Gian Perez as Henry, Daniel J. Maldonado as Gabe, and Katie Thompson (Oklahoma!) as Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine.

Checking In With… Punk Rock Girl! Star Ashley LaLonde

The exploration of a suburban family struggling with the effects of mental illness has a book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey and music by Tom Kitt. The original production won three Tony Awards, including Best Original Score.

The Westport production will also have scenic design by Adam Koch, costume design by Jennifer Caprio, lighting design by Cory Pattak, sound design by Domonic Sack, music direction by Emily Croome, behavior health consulting by Nicole Eastwood, props supervision by Sean Sanford, and dramaturgy by Katie Ciszek. Casting is by Tara Rubin Casting's Claire Burke, and the production stage manager is Caitlin Kellermeyer.
