Sunday, Jan. 17: Liza Paul and Bahia Watson offer a fresh, funny and distinctly West Indian look at womanhood in pomme is french for apple at Joe's Pub, returning as part of the Under the Radar festival. Composed of a series of fast-paced vignettes, the two comediennes bring to light the absurdity of women's lives with more than a few laughs in between. Tickets $25; 9:30 PM. 

Monday, Jan. 18: Birdland welcomes the return of Merman's Apprentice, starring Klea Blackhurst in the role of Broadway great Ethel Merman. The concert staging, which sold out its June engagement last year, celebrates the original cast recording of the musical. Tickets from $25; 7 PM. 

Tuesday, Jan. 19: Two-time Tony nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega takes the stage at The Cutting Room. The Rent star is hot off the acclaimed Empanada Loca. Tickets from $20; 8 PM.

Wednesday, Jan. 20: Lincoln Center's 2016 American Songbook series kicks off with a bang with an intimate solo concert by Tony nominee Vanessa Williams. The chart-topping singer celebrates 30 years of her successful career. Tickets from $145; 8:30 PM.  Thursday, Jan. 21: Comedian Catie Lazarus returns to Joe's Pub with her acclaimed talk show, Employee of the Month. This month's impressive line-up features comedian Sarah Silverman and playwright and activist Larry Kramer. Tickets from $20; 9:30 PM. 

Friday, Jan. 22: Don't miss Tommy Tune's final performance at the Cafe Carlyle. The Broadway icon has been debuting his solo show, Tommy Tune, Tonight!, at the uptown hotel. Tickets from $80; 8:45 PM.
