Swedish street magicians and illusionists Peter Brynolf and Jonas Ljung New York theatrical debut Stalker officially opened Off-Broadway April 1, and the reviews are rolling in! Playing New World Stages, the production began performances March 18.
Stalker is a 90-minute magic show created and performed by Brynolf & Ljung, featuring a combination of street magic, illusions, and "physical mentalism." The production premiered in Sweden, and toured the country from 2021-2022.
Brynolf & Ljung had their international breakthrough on Britain's Got Talent in 2012, before launching their Swedish television series Brynolf & Ljung – Street Magic, which ran from 2015-2017.

Stalker is presented by fellow magicians Penn & Teller. “Brynolf & Ljung had us at ‘hallå’ with their mind-bending magic on our TV show,” Penn and Teller said in a previous joint statement. “Now, we’re joining forces with them to unleash Stalker in New York City. We’re truly excited to join the producing team of this spellbinding spectacle.”
With direction by Edward Af Sillén (Eurovision), the Stalker creative team also includes lighting designer Jamie Roderick and sound designer Drew Levy. General management is by KGM Theatrical, and production management is by Tinc Productions.
Joining Penn & Teller on the producing team are Lifeline Entertainment's Lasse Karlsson and Michael Henriksson, with Pernilla and Niclas Nyrensten and All Things Live serving as co-producers.
