Pre-Existing Condition, a new play from actor-writer Marin Ireland, officially opened its Off-Broadway premiere at the Connelly Theater June 18, and the reviews are in. Performances will continue through August 3.
An alternating group of actors perform in the leading role of A over the run, beginning with Tatiana Maslany, through June 20. Julia Chan, who performed June 15, will also star June 21-22. Maria Dizzia, Tavi Gevinson, and Tony winner Deirdre O'Connell will also play the part with dates to be announced.
The cast also features Sarah Steele, Dael Orlandersmith, and Greg Keller, with understudies Raquel Chavez and Gregory Connors rounding out the company.

The production features scenic design by Louisa Thompson, costume design by Enver Chakartash, lighting design by Isabella Byrd, and sound design by Palmer Hefferan. Ashley-Rose Galligan is production stage manager, with Eric Nolan Mattingly as assistant stage manager. Casting is by Taylor Williams, with Wagner Johnson Productions' Zachary Baer serving as general manager.
