Erin Davie and Emily Padgett - Side Show

Anthony Jesse White: Erin Davie should call the NYPD because she was robbed!

Laura Beth Daily: Side Show's Erin Davie and Emily Padgett. They were an outstanding pair and the show was beautiful.

Ellen Burns: Hands down, the most egregious omission is Erin Davie & Emily Padgett for Side Show...a true feat of performing on every level!

Linda Creash: Side Show was robbed!!! Especially Erin and Emily!!!

Ingrid Haas: Erin Davie and Emily Padgett, of course!!! They were magnificent as Daisy and Violet Hilton in SIDE SHOW!!! Also, that musical should have received a nomination for Best Revival of a Musical. I saw it twice and loved the music, the story and the performances of its two leading ladies. I will NEVER understand why the TONY voters ignored these two talented ladies and this amazing musical. Unbelievable!

Playbill.com readers were nothing short of outraged to learn that Erin Davie and Emily Padgett failed to garner nominations for their performances as conjoined twins and circus attractions in the recent Side Show revival. Fans of the musical were also disappointed when the show closed after only playing 56 performances at the St. James Theatre.

Lisa Howard - It Shoulda Been You

Ashlyn Truempler: It Shoulda Been You was completely overlooked! The cast was sublime and it was hilarious!

Stanley Levine: Missing from the nominations were Tyne Daly, Lisa Howard and David Hyde Pierce from the great musical comedy It Shoulda Been You.

Miranda Miller: Lisa Howard…Hands down

Noah Pyzik: LISA HOWARD!

Many Playbill.com readers would have liked to see Lisa Howard nominated for her standout performance in the new comedy musical It Shoulda Been You, which opened at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre March 17. Howard, who has appeared on Broadway in supporting roles in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, South Pacific, 9 to 5 and Priscilla Queen of the Desert, finally stepped into the spotlight in the role of Jenny, the maid of honor who must navigate the chaos erupting between two families in the lead-up to a controversial wedding. Read Playbill.com's interview with Howard in which she opens up about her hilarious co-stars and her happiness in being a plus-sized star.

Annie Byers: Corey Cott!

Natalie Galvin: Corey Cott in Gigi and everything in Side Show.

Lilliana Smith: Corey Cott for Gigi!

In a recent interview with Playbill.com 2015 Tony nominee and previous Tony Award winner Victoria Clark said co-star Corey Cott was "giving the breakout performance of the season" in Gigi. "This guy literally came out of nowhere and he stops the show cold every single night," gushed the Broadway vet. Cott made his Broadway debut as one of the Newsies in 2012 and has proven with Gigi that he's a leading man. Read the full interview with Victoria Clark here.

Matthew Morrison Photo by Carol Rosegg

Matthew Morrison - Finding Neverland

Anthony Nufrio Jr.: MATTHEW MORRISON

Valentina Laura Crudo: Matthew Morrison

Eliyahu Kheel: Definitely Matthew Morrison. He is absolutely phenomenal!!

Tiana Albery: Matthew Morrison!

Ann Marie Gayz: The fact that Finding Neverland got snubbed in every category was really a shame! The cast and original score definitely deserved something!

Laura Gregory: Finding Neverland. Specifically, Matthew Morrison.

Matthew Morrison began his career on Broadway over a decade ago when he was featured in the ensemble of Footloose, followed by roles in Hairspray, The Light in the Piazza and South Pacific. He took a few years absence to star in the hit musical TV series "Glee" but returned to the Great White Way to play the leading role of J.M. Barrie in Finding Neverland, the genius behind the "Peter Pan" story. It came as a surprise to many that Finding Neverland was overlooked at this year's Tony nominations, with the show failing to receive a nod in any category. Alysha Umphress - On the Town

Ben Bodamer: Alysha Umphress should have received a nomination for her hilarious and brilliant star turn as Hildy in On the Town.

Alison Loughlin: Miss Alysha Umphress! This lady should have gotten a nod for her sassy performance of "I Can Cook Too."

Katelyn Shreiner: Alysha Umphress in On the Town. She rocks that role!

Alysha Umphress is currently offering a show-stopping performance as Hildy in the Broadway revival of On the Town, directed by John Rando. The chemistry between her and co-star Jay Armstrong Johnson was palpable during her vivacious rendition of "I Can Cook Too."  Umphress was featured in the Playbill.com roundup of Breakout Performances for the 2014-15 season. To see who else was featured, read the full story here.

Rob McClureHoneymoon in Vegas

Roger Rifkin: Rob McClure in Honeymoon in Vegas. Great presence, energy and charm. He'll eventually win a Tony. It's in the cards!

Ann Natyzak: Rob McClure and Nancy Opel for Honeymoon in Vegas.

Amy Zipperer: I really can't believe that Rob McLure didn't get a nod. I saw tons of shows this year and his was a stand-out performance for me.

Joseph Castelluccio: Rob McClure!

While Rob McClure was nominated for a Tony Award in 2013 for his performance in the musical Chaplin, fans were disappointed to learn that his role in Honeymoon in Vegas didn't garner him a second nomination. McClure played the role of Jack Singer in his fourth Broadway show. Honeymoon in Vegas, also starring Brynn O'Malley, Tony Danza and Nancy Opel, played an acclaimed engagement at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse but failed to generate enough ticket sales after transferring to Broadway, where it played only 93 performances at the Nederlander Theatre.

Rachel TuckerThe Last Ship

Luuk Schroijen: Rachel Tucker in The Last Ship!

While 15-time Grammy winner Sting was nominated for Best Original Score for his musical The Last Ship, many fans of the show were disappointed to see that star Rachel Tucker was not nominated for her performance. Tucker shot to fame thanks to the BBC reality show "I'd Do Anything," a contest to cast the role of Nancy in the West End revival of Oliver! The exposure led to leading roles in We Will Rock You, Farragut North and Wicked. She made her Broadway debut with The Last Ship. Read Playbill.com's Diva Talk feature with the star.
