Here's how it's billed: "A celebration of poor life choices, a crippling need for attention, and a regrettable love of vodka. Let belter and bad decision expert Tori take you on a shameless journey with this hour of slurred autobiographical stories and brassy songs written by other people... The thirst is real, the vocals are legit, and the stories are, tragically, all true." Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables associate director Seth Sklar-Heyn directs the show that has musical direction and arrangements by Jesse Kissel (The Scottsboro Boys, The Visit, Leap of Faith). The evening is created by Scott and her longtime collaborator, Playbill.com editor in chief Adam Hetrick.

Scott is backed by a three-piece band, which includes Kissel, Mat Fieldes (Matilda The Musical) on bass and Dan Weiner (Stomp, Holler if Ya Hear Me) on drums. Choreography is by Jonathan Warren (Wicked).

Scott is a New York-based singer and comedian. As a singer, Tori has performed her solo shows at Joe's Pub, 54 Below, the Laurie Beechman, the Metropolitan Room, and every gay bar on the Eastern Seaboard. As an actress, she was recently seen performing alongside Alice Ripley in a concert reading of a new musical The Girl with Polka Dot Eyes and opposite Linda Lavin, Leslie Uggams and Stephanie J. Block in the Symphony Space tribute to Sheldon Harnick and Fiddler on the Roof. On television, she's counted to 20 as a singing garbage woman on "Sesame Street" and dubbed the vocals of a singing hooker on HBO's "Cathouse: The Musical." Tori is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory.

"Tubthumping" by Chumbawamba. This is a song about someone having a little too much liquid courage when drinking and talking a big game…but you regret everything the next day because you should never mix whiskey, vodka, lager and cider.

"What Good Can Drinking Do" by Janis Joplin. I don't know, Janis. I've been asking myself that same question for years.

"A Lovely Day To Be Out Of Jail" from The Life. This song was in my head when I got out of jail after being arrested for public intoxication. Also, I love Lillias White.

"Get Myself Together" by Robyn. You know that feeling of regret the morning after you wake up from a night of excessive drinking and bad decisions? This song will attempt to motivate you out of that spiral of shame… for a moment.

"Drinking Again" by Dinah Washington. If at first you don't succeed in staying sober long enough to do a weeklong detox, just listen to Dinah sing about why she's drinking again. That lush voice will put away any regrets of falling off the wagon.

"Friends in Low Places" by Garth Brooks. Not only do I love this song and its message of surrounding yourself with people who will make poor decisions with you, but I also love this amazing video from 1990. It has live singing from Garth Brooks, it has amazing "country" choreography, and it has a cameo by Reba McEntire with early 90s hair!

"Liquor Store Blues" by Bruno Mars. "'Cause my job got me going nowhere, So I ain't got a thing to lose. Take me to a place where I don't care, This is me and my liquor store blues." I love those lyrics…and I love the neighborhood liquor store just a block from my house. Check out Angela's Liquor's on Broadway in Astoria, Queens, and tell them I sent you… So I can get free booze!

"If I Were a Bell" from Guys and Dolls. Like Miss Sarah Brown, I too have lost all inhibitions when drinking and made a fool of myself in front of a man. Sadly, they've never looked like Marlon Brando…but I did get a "free" ride home out of it.

"Stay With Me Baby" from "The Rose." This is the ultimate "I'm sorry I am such a disaster, but please don't leave me" song. Watch a master at work, ladies and gentleman. No one does it like The Divine Miss M… but I've been known to try (video of my version also available on YouTube).

"The Vodka Song" by Seamus Moore. When I was a teenager, my friend and I snuck into her dad's liquor cabinet and tried a sip of all the different booze he had. The moment vodka touched my lips, I knew it was love. I owe all of my mistakes, my regrets and my entire show, Thirsty! at Joe's Pub, to vodka. Cheers!
