Get ready for a weekend in the country! Rehearsals have begun for the Lincoln Center concert versions of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music, which will play David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center June 27, 28, and 29. See the starry cast rehearse in the photos below.

Featuring new orchestrations by the Tony-winning orchestrator and longtime Sondheim collaborator Jonathan Tunick, A Little Night Music in Concert will feature an all-star cast, including Susan Graham as Desiree, Cynthia Erivo as Petra, Ron Raines as Fredrik, Kerstin Anderson as Anne, Ross Lekites as Mr. Erlanson, Jason Gotay as Henrik, Leah Horowtiz as Mrs. Nordstrom, Jin Ha as Frid, Addie Harrington as Fredrika, Shuler Hensley as Count Carl Magnus, Ellie Fishman as Mrs. Segstrom, Andrea Jones-Sojola as Mrs. Anderson, Jonathan Christopher as Mr. Lindquist, Marsha Mason as Madame Armfeldt, and Ruthie Ann Miles as Countess Charlotte. The new 53-piece orchestration nearly doubles the size of the original production's orchestra, which was featured 27 players.

With music and lyrics by Sondheim and a book by Hugh Wheeler, A Little Night Music in Concert will be directed by Marc Bruni, from a new libretto by John Doyle. Josh Prince will choreograph.

A Little Night Music was originally produced and directed on Broadway in 1973 by Harold Prince, garnering 12 Tony nominations and winning six awards, including Best Musical. A musical adaptation of the 1955 film Smiles of a Summer Night, A Little Night Music was Sondheim’s eighth musical, featuring his widely beloved ballad “Send in the Clowns.”

A Little Night Music In Concert will include vocal direction by Rob Berman, lighting design by Ken Billington, and sound design by Dan Moses Schreier.

The associate producer is Michael Harrington, and the consulting producer is Ted Chapin. A Little Night Music In Concert is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
