Greenberg is directing the Off-Broadway production after staging earlier runs at Maltz Jupiter Theatre in Florida, Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, and Segal Centre for Performing Arts in Montreal. The farce also became a podcast radio play in May 2020, with a cast including Christopher Sieber, Laura Benanti, and John Stamos.

The upcoming NYC premiere is not a replica of earlier stagings. The Off-Broadway production will feature scenic design by Tijana Bjelajac, costume design by Tristan Raines, lighting design by Rob Denton, sound design by Victoria Deiorio, and wig and hair design by Ashley Rae Callahan. Morgan Holbrook will be production stage manager, and casting is by JZ Casting.

Drew & Dane Productions is producing the Off-Broadway bow, with Dori Berinstein serving as executive producer.
