Three-time Tony winner Patti LuPone, who recently concluded her Tony-winning run as Joanne in the Tony-winning revival of Company, has added an additional concert January 1 at 8 PM to her previously
announced 15-show engagement December 20, 2022-January 8, 2023. The January 1 performance will also be
live-streamed.
Those currently on the waiting list for LuPone’s shows will be contacted
first to purchase tickets to the in-person show January 1. The
remaining tickets will subsequently be put on sale to the public. Live stream tickets can be purchased now at 54below.com/LuPoneLIVE.
The evenings, entitled Songs From a Hat, will feature the
Broadway favorite performing an intimate concert, with the song list
randomly chosen from a hat. Attendees can expect songs, both new and
old, and stories from her award-winning career. Each performance will
feature a different set list.
LuPone, who premiered Songs From a Hat in May for Lincoln Center Theater's 2022 Gala, also won Tonys for her performances in Evita and the 2008 revival of Gypsy; she won her first Olivier Award for her work in The Cradle Will Rock and Les Misérables, and her second for the 2019 London revival of Company.
Next year, Carnegie Hall's house band will perform Bernstein’s “Kaddish” Symphony, unfinished works by Schubert, and the final concert of Conductor Bernard Labadie.
