My Fair Lady tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a cockney flower girl who meets Henry Higgins, a linguistic expert, who bets that he can turn Eliza into a lady, simply by teaching her proper English. The film features songs such as "I Could Have Danced All Night," "The Rain in Spain," "On The Street Where You Live" and "Wouldn't It Be Loverly?"
The musical is based on the George Bernard Shaw play Pygmalion and was adapted by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe. The Broadway musical opened in 1956, and the film version premiered in 1964.
The film will also be released on Blu-ray Oct. 27. The 50th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray will include video from the British and Los Angeles premieres, Rex Harrison's BFI Honor and Golden Globe acceptance speeches, alternate Audrey Hepburn vocals and more.
