News Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games Takes Final Bow on Broadway Tonight, Heads Out on Tour The Broadway premiere of Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games, created, directed by and starring Michael Flatley, ends its scheduled limited run at the Lyric Theatre Jan. 3, and will head back out on tour, starting Feb. 19 in Florida.

The limited eight-week New York engagement opened Nov. 10, 2015, following previews that began Nov. 7.

Flatley has been featured in a special appearance at the end of each evening's performance. The appearance, which will continue on the tour, is being billed as "his final onstage appearances as a performer following a remarkable 20 year run as the creator and star of the Lord of the Dance franchise." Fellow performers also include Morgan Comer, James Keegan and Cathal Keaney in the title role of the "Lord of the Dance."

The engagement was produced by Flately and Live Nation.

According to press notes, the show features "exciting and ground-breaking new technology, including holographs, special effects lighting, dancing robots, world champion acrobats and of course the greatest team of Irish Dancers in the world."

The score is composed by Gerard Fahy. Tickets for the final Broadway performance are available at ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000. The Lyric Theatre is located at 213 West 42nd Street.
