Voyeurz, a new musical extravaganza promising "nudity and explicit sex scenes," will open July 22 at the Whitehall Theatre in London's West End.
The revue, which features the rock group Fem2Fem, recently the subject of a Playboy magazine pictorial, will maintain an over-18 age restriction.
Set in New York's demimonde, the plot involves Jane, a Southern girl to goes to the big city and finds herself drawn into the world of the hip, sexy nightclub Voyeurz, which is run by a "Stunning dominatrix" named Eve.
The musical has book, music and lyrics by Michael Lewis and Peter Rafelson. Costume design is by Joseph Corre for Agent Provocateur, sets by Jeremy Railton and Geoff Rose, with lighting by Ian Peacock.
Voyeurz is being choreographed by Bunty Matthias and Annabel Haydn, and will be directed by Michael Lewis, Peter Rafelson and Michael White. Voyeurz will be produced by Michael White for M.W. Entertainments Ltd. White staged Oh! Calcutta! in London in 1970.
