Two concert performances of Kevin McDonald: Superstar are set for January 6–7, 2024, at Dynasty Typewriter at Los Angeles' Hayworth Theatre. The new rock opera is written by McDonald, who is known for his work as a member of the comedy group The Kids in the Hall.
The concerts will star Olivier winner Lesli Margherita (Matilda), Thomas Lennon (Reno 911!), Dana Gould (The Simpsons), Danielle Perez (Dicks: The Musical), Dave Hill of Valley Lodge, and McDonald as himself. The cast will be backed by Geoff Pearlman on guitar.
Both concerts will be held at 7:30 PM PST, and the January 6 performance will be available to live stream worldwide. Those who purchase a live-stream pass will be able to watch the concert for up to a week after the broadcast.
