Keen Company's benefit reading of Light Up the Sky plays April 25 at 7 PM at Off-Broadway's Theatre Row. Directed by Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein, proceeds from the gala will go towards the company's upcoming season and programs, including Keen's Playwrights Lab and Keen Teens.

Written by Moss Hart, the work originally premiered on Broadway in 1948, telling the story of a group of New York performers eagerly awaiting the reception for their recent try-out. 

The cast comprises stage favorites Tovah FeldshuhAllan K. WashingtonArnie Burton, Jason Tam, Ari'el Stachel, Andrew Dawson, Kelly McAndrew, Matt Servitto, Kayce Wilson, Jasminn Johnson, Lauren Molina, and Reg Rogers.

Past productions from the Drama Desk Award-winning company include revivals of Adam Gwon's Ordinary Days and Jonathan Larson's tick, tick...BOOM!. The company most recently produced Peter Gil-Sheridan's This Space Between Us.
