The nonprofit arts organization Dancers Over 40 will commemorate its 30th anniversary April 1 at 54 Below.
Entitled Comedy Tonight: A Roast of Lee Roy Reams, the 7 PM concert will honor the Tony-nominated 42nd Street triple threat. Jim Brochu will direct the evening with musical direction by Fred Barton.
Scheduled to appear are Drama Desk winner Brochu (Zero Hour), Tony winner Len Cariou (Sweeney Todd), Tony nominee Melissa Errico (Amour), Tony nominee Penny Fuller (Applause), Tony nominee Anita Gillette (Cabaret), Tony winner Judy Kaye (The Phantom of the Opera), Karen Mason (Wonderland), Tony nominee Pamela Myers (Company), and Grammy winner Billy Stritch (42nd Street).
Additional artists from New York, Hollywood, and London will pay tribute to Reams via videotaped messages. Reams has also appeared on Broadway in Applause; Lorelei; Hello, Dolly!; Beauty and the Beast; and The Producers; and directed the 1995 revival of Hello, Dolly! and An Evening with Jerry Herman.

is an all-volunteer, membership-driven, non-profit arts organization
dedicated to preserving the history, legacy, and lives of the mature
creative community, while sharing the knowledge with the younger
generation just beginning their careers.
