Heathers: The Musical has a new team on top. Based on the cult classic 1989 film that starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, the musical continues at London's Other Palace.

Leading lady Veronica Sawyer is now played by Erin Caldwell, with dark and dangerous Jason ‘J.D’ Dean played by Nathanael Landskroner. Continuing as the eponymous 'Heathers' are Maddison Firth as Heather Chandler, Vivian Panka as Heather Duke and Jasmine Beel as Heather McNamara.

They are joined by Ashleigh Harvey as Ms Fleming/Veronica’s Mom, Lydia Eliza Roberts as Martha Dunnstock, Tobias Turley as Kurt Kelly, Brandon Gale as Ram Sweeney, Stuart Turner as Ram’s Dad/Veronica's Dad/Principal Gowan, Ryan Bennett as Kurt’s Dad/Big Bud Dean/Coach Ripper, Elliot David Parkes as Beleaguered Geek, May Tether as Drama Club Drama Queen, Lewis Asquith as Hipster Dork/Officer, Georgia Gagen as New Wave Party Girl, Amonik Melaco as Preppy Stud/Officer, Bayley Hart as Stoner Chick, Eleanor Morrison-Halliday as Young Republicanette, and Billie Bowman as Midwestern Surf Punk.

Heathers: The Musical follows Westerberg High student Veronica Sawyer, who's on track to become one of the most popular girls in school after befriending the beautiful but cruel Heathers, only to meet a mysterious teen rebel who changes everything. With a book, music, and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O'Keefe, the musical premieres at Los Angeles' Hudson Backstage Theatre in 2013 before moving Off-Broadway the following year.

The New York run would prove to be short-lived, running less than four months, but the musical followed the success of its source material to become a cult favorite thanks to its cast album and productions at regional theatres and schools.

The musical subsequently bowed at London's The Other Palace in 2018 before breaking box-office records and transferring to Theatre Royal Haymarket the same year. Since its debut, the production toured the U.K. and played an encore run at the Haymarket that later transferred back to its original home at The Other Palace, where it was filmed on stage and broadcast on Roku earlier this year.

The London production is directed by Andy Fickman with choreography by Gary Lloyd, design by David Shields, lighting by Ben Cracknell, and sound by Dan Samson.
