Heather Morris' "Glee" Parents Revealed as Final Season Approaches | Playbill

News Heather Morris' "Glee" Parents Revealed as Final Season Approaches Ken Jeong ("The Hangover") and Jennifer Coolidge (Elling, The Women) will guest star on the final season of the Fox hit musical series "Glee," which begins Jan. 9, according to HollywoodLife.com.

The two will play parents to the character of Brittany, who is played by original cast member Heather Morris.

In an interview with HollwoodLife.com, new cast member Billy Lewis, Jr. (national tours of Hair, Spring Awakening, We Will Rock You), who will play a Cheerio named Mason, said, "When filming the wedding episodes actually, there were a couple of amazing comedians that come in... Ken Jeong and Jennifer Coolidge play Brittany's parents in the show and watching the two of them work is like gold. It's like a comedic masterclass. The way they come up with new lines on the spot and make each other laugh constantly. It's just gold."

Last month Jeong tweeted a picture of the "Glee" family on set.

As previously reported, the upcoming season will welcome a slew of new cast members who have been seen on Broadway. The final season will bring the Glee crew back to their hometown to revive the New Directions.

"Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy said in April that the final season "dwells on the original people on the show and what happens to them and how they give back."

"Glee" is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto serve as executive producers.
