Milos Forman directed the 1979 movie, which featured John Savage, Treat Williams, and Beverly D'Angelo, among others. The film was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards, including Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical.

Hair, featuring music by Galt MacDermot and a book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado, premiered in 1967 at Off-Broadway's Public Theater before a Broadway transfer the following year. The 2009 revival, starring Gavin Creel, Will Swenson, and Caissie Levy, went on to win the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical. The national tour of the production played a limited Broadway engagement in 2011. A small screen live adaptation will head to NBC in 2019.

The four films will be shown in the landscape between Sheep Meadow and the 72nd Street Cross Drive. Gates open at 6:30 PM; screenings begin at dusk. All the films are open-captioned. Click here for more information.
