The Broadway revival of Edward Albee’s Three Tall Women broke its own house record at the Golden Theatre in the week ending June 10, grossing $994,258 (106.6 percent of its potential). The Joe Mantello-helmed production is set to end its limited engagement later this month, but expect that number to climb even higher following Tony Award wins for stars Glenda Jackson and Laurie Metcalf.
The Band’s Visit inched closer to surpassing $1 million (a milestone it hasn’t hit since January), and a decisive victory at the Tonys—winning ten awards including Best Musical—will surely lift the introspective musical back into the Millionaires Club.
