DRAG: The Musical's world premiere staging is currently playing The Bourbon Room in Hollywood, California. The musical, which released a studio cast album earlier this year, began performances September 23 and will continue through October 15.

The all-star cast includes Joey McIntyre and Broadway favorites Nick Adams, Miah Blake, Alysha Deslorieux along with RuPaul's Drag Race stars Alaska, Jackie Cox, and Jan Sport; and drag favorites Lagoona Bloo and Aria B. Cassadine. Rounding out the cast is Kayden Koshelev, Nick Laughlin, J. Elaine Marcos, Patrick Ortiz, and Jamie Torcellini. Get a first look at the musical below.

Telling the story of two rival drag bars that go head-to-head for survival amidst financial troubles, DRAG: The Musical is written by Alaska in collaboration with Tomas Costanza and Ashley Gordon. Broadway Head Over Heels choreographer Spencer Liff directs and choreographs the production, with costume design from Emmy winner Marco Marco.

Producing is Costanza, along with the team behind Broadway's Rock of Ages and the owners of The Bourbon Room, Matthew and Hillary Weaver, Scott Prisand, and Janet Billig Rich. Additional co-production is provided by Concord Theatricals, Paolo and Jodie Coppola, Aron and Gabe Alves-Tomko, Timothy Boynton, and Alvin Providence, along with general management team Kevin Bailey and Matthew Herrmann. David Charpentier, Jacob Slane, and Ryan Aceto on behalf of Producer Entertainment Group are executive producers.
