Production Photos Get a 1st Look at The Best We Could Off-Broadway

Directed by Daniel Aukin, the work follows a father-daughter road trip that turns out to be much more than what's on the surface.

Get a first glimpse of Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of Emily Feldman's The Best We Could (a family tragedy), which officially opened at New York City Center Stage I March 1, after beginning previews February 8. The run will continue through March 26. Daniel Aukin is directing.

The cast includes Aya Cash as Ella, Brian D. Coats as Marc, Maureen Sebastian as Maps, Constance Shulman as Peg, and Frank Wood as Lou.

The show, which follows a father-daughter road trip that turns out to be much more than what's on the surface, was originally announced for MTC's 2019-2020 season but was postponed due to the pandemic.

Aukin's creative team includes scenic designer Lael Jellinek, costume designer Anita Yavich, lighting designer Matt Frey, sound designer Kate Marvin, and production stage manager lark hackshaw. Casting is by Kelly Gillespie.
