Located in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn, Gallery announced that Justine McLaughlin will take over as managing director and Mark Harborth as artistic director as the troupe launches its 49th season.

Both McLaughlin and Harborth have a long history with the organization in various roles including sitting on the Board of Directors.

The season will open with the Stephen Schwartz/John-Michael Tebelak musical, Godspell, followed Oct. 24 by August Wilson's 1990 Pulitzer Prize winner The Piano Lesson. Then, opening during the holiday season, It Runs In The Family by Ray Cooney, modern master of the British farce whose Run For Your Wife was a hit for the company last season.

The lineup continues Jan. 30, 2016, with Ahrens & Flaherty's musical Seussical, March 12 with One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest by Dale Wasserman. The mainstage season will conclude April 23 with In The Heights, co-written by Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The Gallery Players will also present the 19th annual Black Box New Play Festival opening on June 2. The festival will premiere new one-act and full-length plays by local playwrights — four weeks, four different programs.

Mainstage tickets cost $18 for adults and $15 for senior citizens, students, and children 12 and under. A variety of subscription plans are available, including the new S/C Subscription for seniors and children.
