News "Frozen," Cate Blanchett, Bryan Cranston, Elisabeth Moss, "12 Years a Slave" and "American Hustle" Are Golden Globe Winners The Disney animated film "Frozen," actors Cate Blanchett, Bryan Cranston, Amy Adams and Jennifer Garner are among the winners of the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards, which presented by The Hollywood Foreign Press Association Jan. 12 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the ceremony.

Topping the list with seven nominations each at the start of the evening were "12 Years a Slave" and "American Hustle," which were competing for Best Motion Picture (Drama) and Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy), respectively. Both pictures took top honors in their respective categories.

Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts, who co-star in Tracy Letts'  family drama "August: Osage County," were nominated for their performances as drugged-out matriarch Violet Weston and her daughter Barbara Fordham, respectively. Streep received a nod for Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy), and Roberts was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture. The film did not take any honors.

The Disney animated film "Frozen" won the Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature, and its song, "Let It Go," penned by husband-and-wife songwriters Tony Award winner Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, was nominated for Best Original Song.
