Following the current Off-Broadway engagement of the acclaimed solo version of William Shakespeare's Hamlet—starring Tony nominee Eddie Izzard—the production will play limited runs in Chicago and London.

The solo Hamlet, which played an extended engagement at Off-Broadway's Greenwich House Theater January 25–March 16, reopened at the Orpheum March 19 and will continue at that Manhattan venue through April 14. Izzard will subsequently play Chicago Shakespeare Theater April 19–May 4, followed by a six-week run at London’s Riverside Studios May 23–June 30.

Izzard, who triumphed last season with a solo version of Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations, plays 23 characters in Hamlet. Selena Cadell directs Mark Izzard's adaptation of the Shakespeare classic; the two also worked with Eddie Izzard on Great Expectations.

Hamlet is produced by WestBeth Entertainment, Mick Perrin Worldwide, and John Gore.
