Video Exclusive Sneak Peek: Ephraim Sykes Is an Intergalactic Heartthrob in Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur

Check out the video clip of the Ain't Too Proud Tony nominee in an upcoming episode of the animated Disney series.

Tony nominee Ephraim Sykes is the latest Broadway voice getting an animation makeover. The Ain't Too Proud star is lending his Motown vocals to the Disney animated series Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, appearing as intergalactic pop star and heartthrob Bobby the Myth. Check out the clip above from the episode "Wish-Tar," featuring Sykes singing the tune "Coast to Coast."

Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur follows the adventures of 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rex Devil Dinosaur, which she accidentally brings into present-day New York City. Based on the comic book series, Lunella Lafayette is Marvel's first Black teen superhero. Diamond White voices her in the Disney series, now in its second season.

The cast also stars Fred Tatasciore as Devil Dinosaur, Libe Barer as Casey, Alfre Woodard as Mimi, Sasheer Zamata as Adria, Jermaine Fowler as James Jr., Gary Anthony Williams as Pops, and executive producer Laurence Fishburne as The Beyonder.

The first two episodes of Season 2 premiere February 2 on the Disney Channel, followed by a 14-new-episode drop on Disney+ February 3.

Sykes isn't the only Broadway talent that Disney has scooped up for Season 2. Keep your ears open for Ann Harada, Cynthia Erivo, and Alex Newell among the many guest voices. Others include Parker Posey, David Tennant, Giancarlo Esposito, Carol Kane, and more.
