The cast recording of the 2023 Broadway revival of Alfred Uhry and Jason Robert Brown's Parade is among the nominees for Best Musical Theater Album at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. Parade (2023 Broadway Cast Recording), featuring Tony, Grammy, and Emmy winner Platt and Tony nominee Diamond, is conducted by composer Brown. Listed as nominees for the album are cast members Diamond, Platt, Alex Joseph Grayson, and Jake Pedersen, as well as album producers Brown and Jeffrey Lesser.
The 66th Annual Grammy Awards will be held February 4, 2024 at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena. The other nominees are Kimberly Akimbo, Shucked, Some Like It Hot, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. See Brown react to Parade's Grammy nomination below.
Parade tells the true story of Leo Frank, a Jewish man who was wrongfully accused and convicted of murdering a 13-year-old girl in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1913. It features a score by Brown and a book by Uhry.
The Tony-winning revival of Parade played its final performance at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre August 6, 2023. The production opened March 16 after beginning previews February 21, with Michael Arden at the helm. The revival earned six 2023 Tony nominations, winning two, including Best Revival of a Musical and Best Direction of a Musical for Arden. It was recently announced that Parade will go on tour in 2025.
The revival came to Broadway following a 2022 run at New York City Center. Much of the cast from that production continued to Broadway, including Platt and Diamond as Leo and Lucille Frank, respectively.

The creative team included choreographers Christopher Cree Grant and Lauren Yalango-Grant, music director Tom Murray, scenic designer Dane Laffrey, costume designer Susan Hilferty, lighting designer Heather Gilbert, projection designer Sven Ortel, hair and wig designer Tom Watson, sound designer Jon Weston, and production stage manager Justin Scribner. The production was cast by The Telsey Office's Craig Burns, who also handled the City Center run.
